Adding Cranes to our Fleet
The Operations Team have been putting one of the new Cranes through its paces while working on familiarisation with the would be operators.
The new Crane, which is one of over a dozen recent acquisitions by the Business, is a Grove GMK5150XL, a 5 axle class leading crane.
First impressions of the crane have been good, with a 68.7m Boom and the potential to lift 43te, 18te and 1te at a radius of 10m / 20m and 60m.

Being 2.75m wide and only 14.5m long, the Crane has an impressive 7 section boom which reaches 68.7m. That coupled with the taxiing and full counterweight duties, means it is formidable ‘small’ mobile crane”
