Choose a Hire Option

Which option is suitable for you CPA Hire or CPA Contract Lift?  There are some simple questions that can help you decide which option is best for you. Or alternatively our team of highly trained Hire Desk Controllers can advise you on the best option.

Simple Questions to help you choose your hire option.

  • Do you have a trained and competent Appointed Person (BS7121) to plan and control your lifting operation?
  •  Do you have a trained and competent Lift Supervisor to supervise the lifting operation?
  • Do you have a trained and competent Slinger Signaller to physically attach / detach the load to the crane and guide crane movements?
  • Do you have a written risk assessment and lifting method statement in place?
  • Do you have the relevant insurances in place for a lifting operation?

If the answer to any of these questions is no then you will need to ask for a fully contracted CPA Contract lift. The diagram below describes the difference in responsibilities for each hire option.
