The Operations Team have been putting one of the new Cranes through its paces while working on familiarisation with the would be operators.

The new Crane, which is one of over a dozen recent acquisitions by the Business, is a Grove GMK5150XL, a 5 axle class leading crane.

Demonstrating Heavy Lift Efficiency at the Port of Tilbury

LIEBHERR LTM1800d Port of Tilbury

The Project and Marine Department of Baldwins Crane Hire recently supported its client Deugro with the work scope of discharging Transformers from a vessel at the Port of Tilbury. The Super Grid Transformers, both destined for National Grid Substations weighed 200te and 120te. The Units were manufactured in South Korea by Hyosung Heavy Industries and arrived at the Port of Tilbury in Essex via Rotterdam.
